  Spybotics Experiments

Hi, everybody, I'm new to this forum, and I'm glad I found it. :-) Please note that the following is only an "preliminary report" of a "Work in progress". :-) Recently, I bought a couple of Spybots as buddies for my RCX and was of course thrilled by (...) (...) As I recall, Jake McKee implied that Maersk Blue wouldn't be available again-- the company as a whole didn't really say anything at all. Then the AFOL community ran with it and made a huge deal over what Jake said. At the time, LEGO decided to (...) (14 years ago, 3-Jan-11, to lugnet.promo, FTX)

  Re: LPub Error Message?

(...) Actually, if the "pure virtual function call" error really did come from LDView, then it indicates a bug in LDView, no matter what the contents of the files being fed into LDView. The only way that LDView could generate such an error that I (...) (14 years ago, 6-Dec-10, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Spybots

(...) Hardware wise, they have two motors, a touch sensor, and several light/IR sensors. They can hold one program at a time. They use a serial connected interface that uses light (not sure if its IR or not) for program transfer. There is no USB (...) (20 years ago, 31-Aug-04, to lugnet.robotics)

NXT 1.0 models in NXT 2.0?

I have both 1.0 and 2.0 NXT sets, and I'd like to have all of the models from both versions of the software to appear. I thought I could install both and I'd get both sets of models, but I can't install the 1.0 software- it tells me that I need at (...) (14 years ago, 19-Nov-10, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

(...) (Keep in mind that I'm a very old fogey who has been using NNTP stuff for decades.) The advantage to me is that I don't have to use a web browser to do it. :-) I run my browser with Javascript turned off virtually all the time. So, I tend to (...)   Re: BrickFest DC 2004 Technic/Mindstorms events

(...) There are daily "feeding time" events at 1:00pm in the Technic/Mindstorms room. This is like feeding time at the sea-lion exhibit at the zoo. All the animals wake up and run around 'cos they're being fed. Well, at BrickFest, feeding time is (...) (20 years ago, 12-Aug-04, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.robotics)
