  LEGO Spybotics & LEGO Direct/Shop

Hi :) As most of you might've noticed, the Spybotics line are finally (!!!) available on the LEGO Shop (at least for Portugal, I didn't check it for other countries, sorry). I'm very interested in buying at least one of the possible 4 sets and add (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jul-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Spybotics demo followup questions

Now that I think about it, I didn't really like the reasoning behind making a serial product instead of usb. It actually sounds like an excuse to me... No, it sounds like a 256 byte scratch pad/heap/whatever. But do we have to reverse engineer these things? I would have thought TLC would have seen the light and would make our life easier this time around. --Jack Gregory "John Hansen" (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jul-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Technic's Dead (was: I need Technic)

I can agree with your feelings of the Technic theme being slowly diluted with Bionicle, Throwbots and the like and the theme 'Technic' itself may indeed be dead but I am in a huge disagreement with idea that the newer Technic parts are in some way (...)   New Argos catalogue and new LEGO catalogue

I picked up the new LEGO catalogue today, August-December 2002. I don't think there is anything in it that we don't have listed at www.brickset.com, except for the Williams F1 racer, #8461, which looks pretty good adorned with new 'HP Invent' (...) (22 years ago, 3-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)
