  Re: Brainstorms

OK, I've been watching this thread for a few days (I am LUCNY's "Expert Lurker" after all !) and refining some ideas that I've had for a while in hopes that I can contibute to this dicussion in a useful way. I've made a point of avoiding video games for years now. It's weird because I love them. I know this is gonna seem REALLY Old Skool, but, I loved my Nintendo! I had all the Space Ship - Multiple Gun games. Then I realized, the more I played Video (...) (22 years ago, 11-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.lego.direct)

  Mega Bloks RC set 9616

I recently purchased this set for the sole purpose of examining its R/C technology - I have an ongoing interest in the area of Lego R/C as some on lugnet may know. The R/C system itself is clunky.   Spybotics vs Cricket

Forgive me if this has already been discussed.. I haven't followed all messages here. I was at TLC's presentation of Spybotics at BF. There, it was described as, "the next generation of RCX." I had a perfect opportunity to speak with Brad Justus, Jake McKee and Jeff Ardis at BrickFest on the subject of Spybotics. Cheers John! Not really a high-end user, I'm fairly satisfied with the RCX brick with a few exceptions: First, it isn't really that robust. I've got 2 RCX bricks, and both get amnesia.
