| I don't think it is supposed to. I think it is searching for the Mindstorms signal, which the pbForth firmware does not send. I had that happen to me, and I got it to work fine(eventually)... Andy (...) (25 years ago, 30-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

I have the "Extreme Mindstorms" book which has a good summary of 2.0 in Chapter 4, but I was looking for something I could download and print off to hand out (...) | The problem is that each tone is queued into a buffer and the firmware automatically processes the next intruction in the program. Since the next instruction is another tone, the queue starts filling faster than can be processed, since each tone (...) (25 years ago, 30-Jun-99, to lugnet.robotics)

It happens to be the same compiler that LEGO uses to build the NXT firmware so it makes it extraordinarily simple to build your own modified firmware (...) | (...) Quick note about legOS: it is a replacement firmware for the Mindstorms, designed to allow you to write programs in C that run /on/ the robot itself. | hi andreas with the book "lego mindstorms" by dirk louis and peter müller (german, isbn 3-8272-9081-3) comes a cd with a free vb6 version ("working model edition"). it is fully functional, the only limitation is that you can't compile exe-files. i (...)
