(...) Yes. (...) No, integers are integers whether written decimal or hexadecimal (or in binary or whatever other base[*]). What you can do depends on the software you use. (...) This error indicate to you that communication is really bad or RCX have a firmware locked in memory !! Try to download the program with -s option like that (firmdl3 -s PATH/legOS.srec) Or try to erase firmware by erase RAM nanobapt (21 years ago, 2-May-03, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

(...) Ummmm, I think if you use NQC command line, the counter only goes to 1300 or so. I wonder 1f RCXCC is reading the SRECORD file and padding it to 16384 bytes.   Where Have All the Studs Gone?
 
Dear LEGO, I just opened my new MindStorms NXT, and my first impression is that this is a really cool system with a lot of potential. But I've gotta ask - where have all the studs gone? A 577-piece LEGO set that has a grand total of six pieces that (...) (18 years ago, 4-Dec-06, to lugnet.dear-lego, FTX) !

  NXT Synchro Drive

(...) The LEGO camera is actually a Logitech USB camera, and cannot be interfaced directly with the RCX. It needs to be connected to a PC (or some other USB Host device) in order to operate. Ed, Thanks for your help! I am using the same version of cygwin that you are. I made the changes you suggested in the two .common Makefiles and now firmdl3 doesn't complain anymore. It does tell me "firmdl3: delete firmware failed", though. I don't (...) (21 years ago, 1-May-03, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

(URL) is the Lithium Battery for Mindstorms NXT - unfortunately, while the S@H page clearly states that you require the additional purchase of #9833 Transformer Pack sold separately, there is no way to buy this with the 9798 kit shown on S@H site. One the shelves locally are Mindstorms sets that have big stickers that say something like "free upgrade to 1.5 available" These seems to indicate they are version 1.0 I bought my first set from Shop and Home and it was the latest 1.5 version, no (...) I installed the legacy blocks on my MacBookPro and now whenever I start up NXT-G it crashes saying "The application MINDSTORMS NXT quit unexpectedly". Anyone else with an intel mac have this problem? (...) (18 years ago, 18-Nov-06, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)
