  Re: Why NQC over Robolab?

(...) Then I would like to announce that NQC supports the MicroScout and CodePilot bricks. It has had this support for several years. (...) The Spybot is a fully programmable lego brick like the RCX and Scout. Like the Scout its firmware is in ROM. (...) (20 years ago, 12-Dec-04, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: LEGO Factory / PaB Pricing Study

(...) Huh. Ironicly,my experience (limited though it is) is just the opposite. I'm involved in some associations where the complaint is the other way around: that LEGO panders to the US market (a large one to be sure) but doesn't pay nearly as close (...) (16 years ago, 9-Apr-09, to lugnet.lego)

While I program all my projects using Robolab, I suspect that 'Ultimate Robolab' is so far above my capabilities that I should not attempt to use it. Hi Chris, leJOS is not an irreversible step, nor is legOS or pbForth or even Lego's default firmware. The firmware is stored in battery-backed RAM, so you can download different firmwares as much as you like. Look for an article about leJOS in (...) (24 years ago, 28-Dec-00, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) :) (...) I'm not sure how the Swan firmware does it, but I have mine set so it cycles every 8 ms. It's on for 0 to 8 ms, then off (brake) for the rest, depending on the speed.
