| | Re: Motorizing the 8865 test car
|
| (...) <Snip> (...) This reminds me of my effort to add radio control to my 8466... (URL) deal. It works, but is heavy, slow to start, and has an almost unresponsive steering. It also happens that backing up is faster than going forward. Strange. As (...) (21 years ago, 11-Feb-04, to lugnet.technic)

It's also interesting how detailed and interesting your backgrounds are... you (...) (20 years ago, 15-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

| (...) D'oh! Are steering wheels out of fashion? I've always been happy with them as the main control for most vehicles. Not all my ships have them, though, as I occasionally get squeezed for space. I actually just looked over my other racers and I'm (...) (20 years ago, 14-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

| In the words of those Guiness guys, BRILLIANT! Beyond that, I don't have a lot to say...yadda yadda great details....yadda yadda nice rack....yadda yadda...keep building. I really dig the contours of the turret, and all the delicious weapons. It (...) (21 years ago, 8-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

|
| Hello, .spacers, I've posted in .build.mecha for a while now, but this is my first time posting here. I've built a ground-attack aircraft named the "Bolt" (okay, I'm probably better at building 'em than naming 'em). (2 URLs) The cockpit has room for (...) | I'll be honest and say I'm not really feeling the confusing "which is the front end and which is the back end" thing, though I admit it falls in line perfectly with what Keith set up with LoPan. I think it's the lack of cockpit that really bothers (...) (20 years ago, 2-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

| | Display stand for 7470 and 8480
|
| Hi, Has anyone built a Starwars UCS-style display stand for the 7470 or 8480 space shuttles that can withstand their weight without collapsing? I have both and I think they'd look great tilted on such a stand, so I'm thinking of building one. Thanks (...) (21 years ago, 28-Jan-04, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.space)
