Hello, .spacers, I’ve posted in .build.mecha for a while now, but this is my
first time posting here. I’ve built a ground-attack aircraft named the “Bolt”
(okay, I’m probably better at building ‘em than naming ‘em).
The cockpit has room for a pilot, weapons officer and communications officer.
It carries several big missiles, and one big gun. It’s primary role is to take
out mechs.
Here’s why I love Lugnet:
The “Bolt’s” engines were inspired by Keith Goldman’s “Lo Pan” and Soren
Roberts’ “Voodoo Child”. The technic-tube gatling gun was originally Mark
Neumann’s (although I think the idea to mount it on one of the AT-TE ball joints
is mine). And I never even attempted landing gear until I saw some excellent
examples right here in .space. This forum is unbeatable for inspiration.

| Hey Kyle, This thing is prettier than me with makeup on. Seriously, though, the stomach-lurching angles you've got those studs in is great. You got the anime-esque angry spaceship look down. | Excellent work Kyle! I love the aggressive look it has. I also like the ridiculously huge gatling gun up front... It just adds to the wackiness, in a good way! :-) The only thing that doesn't make sense to me is your grouping of those three (...) (20 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

| (...) I love this thing! So many excellent angles. I am impressed that you managed to use such a large canopy on a pretty small ship. And I don't care what those other folks say, I like the long gun, it gives the imression that it snipes the mechs (...) (20 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
