  Re: Hobby Show

(...) I wish I could make it, alas the .NET courses I'm taking is taking up all my weekends until December, and my break is this weekend, not the next when Hobby Show will be. I can't even go there and stock up on miniature PCB drill bits either (...) (18 years ago, 24-Oct-06, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: Found in Burch Run, MI (4561 Train Set)

(...) Thanks for the tip. I was able to call an outlet store in Ohio earlier in the week and they told me their delivery was due Thursday and said they would hold 2 of them if they got any. I called back and today I am the proud owner of two sets, (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jul-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: The Ghoul

(...) Why not a stealth freighter, with all the mean-spirited aggressive death-ships out there. Space can be a cruel mistress. Of course there is only one of these ships, so you don't need to worry about collisions...443 is just a serial (...) (21 years ago, 25-Nov-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: New MOC: M2911 Plasma Pistol

(...) Mr. Soren, this weapon is perfect for airing-out 'skin-jobs'. (yeah, I know its not a direct copy of the Blade Runner weapon, but close enough) You did a nice job on the part above the trigger which I'm guessing is a safety...although I can't (...)   What can you do with a 8460?

With the buying frenzy surrounding 8438 subsiding as this second reissue being sold out as well, it is time to ponder: What can you do with a 8460/31/38 set? Anyone who has built something out of the 8460 please reply below. When I first thought of (...) (20 years ago, 4-Apr-04, to lugnet.technic)

Re: New MOC: "Crab" Tank Mecha

M, this thing is money. For some reason it reminds me more of an insect than a crab though. The moc posesses the powerfull thighs of female eastern european olympic swimmer that you just don't see on mecha anymore. But I must complain...where are (...) Hi Clark, (...) Thanks for pitching in, but I'm asking if 2997 could be put on 32077. The Wheel Helper didn't mention this combination (and can so be considered not correct), but I saw it done (see my original post), so I want to know if someone has (...)   Zaku MS-06A Mobile Suit by Charlie Citrin

One of the up-and-comers is having some tech issues with the lugnet posting system, so being the communitarian that I am, I agreed to post it for him.   Re: The inquisition comes to your sector.

It probably won't shock you to hear that I really dig this moc, and the theme behind it. I'm not that familiar with 40k, but the first thing that came to mind was Dune for some reason. I'm on the bandwagon as far as the angel-wings go, although I (...) (20 years ago, 9-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Studs invade Bionicle world en masse!

Hey guys, check out the new (URL) Battle of Metru Nui> set. This is the first time I see that many studs in a Bionicle set. I'm not usually into Bionicle; I am a fan of Technic proper, but I saw this and have to say WOW! Kids now get to get into hot (...) (19 years ago, 1-Jul-05, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, FTX)

  Ley Ward Vignette series

Because of some serious time restrictions I decided to get small (as Steve Martin once said) for a while. Try ECENT11, I used it this weekend along with ZMAIL2 and 3 and I just tried it again without being logged in and it worked (10 off 25 with free shipping, a great deal!)
