Building viaducts with curves and bank angle.

I've been experimenting with building elevated highways, and have several questions pertaining to such. I wanted to build on a scale of about 3 meters/stud, but I don't think that's an adequate resolution if I want to put in realistic curves, anyone (...) (...) Nice looking tractor. Rear view please? Does your camera have a "White Balance" option? If it does, you could probably tweak it so that the red and grey look more natural. Maybe we should do a competition for MOCs built from given Designer (...) (20 years ago, 17-Jan-05, to lugnet.basic, FTX)

  Re: Jormungand Carrier Strike Craft

That's an excellent little craft. I love the overall shape of it, it's pretty unique. The design of the engine (I didn't even know that was a coffin, lol) is excellent, though I think it could be improved if you used a backing other than white below (...) (...) Thanks, Ross! I much appreciate the links. Those are some beautiful bridges.. They've given me a few ideas, but my main problems are still related to achieving a realistic look at such a small scale. I've thought of building in curves with the (...)   Re: Open letter to the CEO of the LEGO Company / Call for your signs! (no discussions here please)

I disagree with most of this letter. Yes, it makes sorting harder. Yes, The Lego Group underestimated how upset some people would be (as I was!). But assuming your focus group work on colours was valid, neither of the above reasons is good enough to (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jan-05, to lugnet.color, lugnet.dear-lego)

I notice on the other thread that many people have signed, but either partially or strongly disagree. Do you plan on passing all of the comments to TLG? I agree with this letter. The new greys will NOT change my buying behaviour (up to US$3000 a year - for me, my child and our friends' children). What does affect my buying behaviour is the quality of the great new Designer sets (me) and the good (...) (20 years ago, 20-Jan-05, to lugnet.color, lugnet.dear-lego)
