Saving the Xtian Church From Itself

Fears of split follow gay bishop vote (URL) The historic vote has sent shock waves through the church and the wider Anglican community, with the Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams saying Wednesday that the church faced "difficult days" while (...)   Re: Heavy-duty turntables.

(...) That must have been disappointing. However, using a large 6x6 gear, four round flat thingies with studs on top, and a 6x6 radar dish, I've come up with a partial solution. The only real problem is the lack of good anchoring on the vertical (...) (21 years ago, 17-May-03, to lugnet.space)

  Heavy-duty turntables.

Due to the size of the weapons I'm employing on my rather huge (six-foot) capital ship, I find myself needing a turntable of much greater capacity than the ones produced by Lego. The weapons I am using are more than twenty studs long, six bricks (...) (21 years ago, 16-May-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Capital Ship II

Hey I like it. If you want my personal opinion, big boxes rule! :) In fact, I have a 30 pound monstrosity that I have yet to photograph, due to the complexity of getting it in and out of my room. Here are my tips on cheaply reducing the boxiness of (...) (21 years ago, 16-May-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: CSS-Broadsword Cruiser

That ship is pretty cool. Overall, the color scheme is good, though perhaps a bit too busy, and somewhat uncoordinated. It's nice to see a ship without complete lateral symmetry (it makes its more realistic), however, I myself am too anal to forego (...) (21 years ago, 16-May-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) Any place you can golf all winter long doesn't have one. Now, if we were talking home, then yep, I can understand the reluctance. Even when there isn't 6' of snow in Jan, the -20C days are a tad chilly. But, the climate here is atually quite (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jul-03, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, FTX)

Re: New LEGO photos from Toy Fair 2003

Has anyone else noticed how Lego is now cleverly guiding innocent create'n'builders surely and slowly into being hardcore technic builders? I think this is a great move for Technic, as it will guarantee more technic fans over the years. Its now (...) (22 years ago, 17-Feb-03, to lugnet.year.2003, lugnet.technic)

  Re: new 2003 sets
