  Re: Rare part list?

(...) Mike, I keep track of rare parts. The hat you are talking about is not a rare part, but rather exists in a rare color. Black is harder to find, but the truely rare color is yellow. The hard hat only appeared in Yellow in 2 sets. Another rare (...) (21 years ago, 21-Dec-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: New Part: 3035p01.dat - confirmation, it exists!

(...) Yes it does exist. It was factory painted to match the wing. It's from set 310. I have a picture of that set MIB showing both parts with red edge paint.   Re: Rarest Regular Lego Part....

(...) The most glaring one that I'm aware of is on page 15 where it states that plates (a.k.a. 1/3 elements) first appeared in 1962. Of course there were several sizes of plates available from the mid-1950's on. This set from circa 1958 had a series (...) (20 years ago, 20-Sep-04, to lugnet.general)

4886: First building since the minifig to have 4 walls?

Getting 4886 today got me thinking... is this the first LEGO building since the introduction of the minifig to have 4 walls? Nothing jumps out at me while browing Town sets at Brickset; they all have the back wall open for the 'hand of God' to place (...) (20 years ago, 12-Oct-04, to lugnet.general)
