And I’m pretty sure I got it the year it came out.

That was my first space set too. I bought three so I could build, umm...castles. (now who’s more eviller.)

My first set that I recall was the Fire Station but I’m sure I had smaller sets before that. The first Lego in our house was a box of used Lego that my parents bought for my youngest brother in about 1971. Ah, polychromatic houses...good times...

I only regret that I never bought the Rocket Base when I could have... I believe that was the first space set, but I leave that to Gary Istok to clarify. The man is a most valuable resource. (And, can make most of us feel young like Mr Sandlin.)
