Re: Very Complex Early LEGO History

A Photo Gallery has been installed on the LEGO CD website. It contains 45 pics gleaned from the over 1,700 used on the CD. Check it out! Most of these items will be unfamiliar to many people. And some will be very familiar! (URL) Istok (18 years ago, 27-Dec-06, to lugnet.general)

(...) Well the latest version of Firefox (2.0.0.1) has been downloaded and installed. So give it another try. Also there are now 2 ways to get the LEGO CD sample Chapters. And the red church is gone. See if there are any further obstructions to (...) (18 years ago, 27-Dec-06, to lugnet.general)

  Re: LEGO CD Mailings....

Kevin, Clark was sort of a "consultant" to the project. I am very familiar with his website, and gave him a few heads up on images. He has the best collection of printed brick images anywhere. Ditto for the LEGO flags and everything else. Gary Istok (18 years ago, 28-Dec-06, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

I probably should have clarified that I only had problems with the early antique finish LEGO CDs, and NOT the full color versions that can be ordered on: www.geminisystems.com/lego/ Gary Istok (18 years ago, 30-Dec-06, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: LEGO CD Mailings....

Thanks Jason and Kevin (and all)! It's amazing at how complex early LEGO really is. If you look at how even today old gray and old brown elements still show up in new sets mixed in with the old... I call that an anomaly (something that is not what (...) (18 years ago, 27-Dec-06, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

LEGO CD - Little Hidden Secrets....

Hey no problem Josh, I am glad you like the CD so much! When I first finished it and added all the PDF Bookmarks, I thought that it didn't seem that big??? But then I realized that with so many huge chapters, it all adds up! Did you guys like the (...) (18 years ago, 28-Dec-06, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.general)

  Re: LEGO CD Mailings....

I had a slight problem with a few of the LEGO CD's, so there was a delay in some mailings for folks who ordered in the middle of December. About 25 of the CDs had a faded image in the light scribe image. So rather than waiting longer for the (...) (18 years ago, 30-Dec-06, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: LEGO CD - Unique Lego Parts By Country List

In the next week or so I will be coming up with a list for the LEGO CD folks that contains all the unique LEGO parts by country/region. What this means is that many LEGO items from 1949-80 were not sold in all locations. There were some items that (...) (18 years ago, 30-Dec-06, to lugnet.general)

Re: Lego name used in Scientific American

For some reason, I think that everyone at TLG (lawyers included) is preoccupied with the corporate downsizing this year. I had repeated requests for LEGO lawyer involvement with the LEGO CD, but never got a single reply. The folks in the LEGO (...) (18 years ago, 18-Jan-07, to lugnet.mediawatch)

Thanks for the pics Luca! Interestingly enough this topic recently came up for discussion.
