  DUPLO creations at NWBrickCon

Just for fun, I intend to bring some DUPLO creations to the NWBrickCon. I hope to show off the creative potential of what seem to be underrated bricks. So far I have built a 20 inch wide by 18 inch tall bust of an alien, a bust of a human and a (...) (23 years ago, 14-Sep-02, to lugnet.events.nwbrickcon, lugnet.duplo)

LUGNET monetization ideas (was new newsgroup)

Here are a few ways to monetize the site. This may start a flame war but here are some ideas nonetheless. 1. Accept advertising on the site.   Re: Best Way to Cut Baseplates

One alternative would be to use a small bit on a high speed router. I've seen Formica and similar laminates cut with great precision with no burring or chipping. I have not tried this myself (yet) but was pondering sacrificing a baseplate to learn (...) (23 years ago, 6-Mar-02, to lugnet.general)

  Mondrian Mosaic (Lazy Man's Mosaic)

Measuring around 15 by 22 inches, here's my LEGO mosaic tribute to Piet Mondrian (1872-1944). I thought it appropriate to post today, as March 7th was his birthday. I call this the "Lazy Man's Mosaic" as it is very easy to build compared to the many (...) (23 years ago, 7-Mar-02, to lugnet.announce.moc) !
