  Re: A little self examination?

(...) I can see your concern but I wouldn't really worry about it. Although I didn't participate in the thread yesterday I did read it. To me responding to such posts is like throwing water on a grease fire and thats why I have come to avoid them. (...) (24 years ago, 19-Oct-00, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

  Re: Why I HATE Lego

Maybe it could become a new event at BrickFests! Someone designs an "impossible" model, and everybody scours their collections for their one or two copies of a rare bit, so that at the event it can be build and photographed by all! That way all (...) (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: A little self examination?

(...) Aye. And remember, this is a discussion forum. Some very good posts don't lend themselves to further discussion, and so don't get much (or any) follow-up. And some very crummy posts get tons of followup. (...) Not that it's wrong either. Trust (...) (24 years ago, 19-Oct-00, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

(...) I took the paint off of one of the UFO droid's heads by scraping the blade of a craft knife (X-acto, to be x-act [hee hee]). If you're unfamiliar with the head, it has a big rectangle of paint across the face (in fact, it was the fig in this (...) (24 years ago, 19-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: is anyone accually castle complete?

Personally, I think that being castle complete would mean just having all the sets known for that theme. This idea of having all the promotional material, etc. is ridiculous since you can take it way too far. Where do you stop? Do you have every (...) (24 years ago, 20-Oct-00, to lugnet.general)

<snipped to conserve space> Tim is right, we do need to take some time and reflect. Let us 'Selah' for a time and make some constructive changes to the community to improve things.   External power source connector

Hello all, Do you think it would be feasibleto build in a jack to be able to feed the RCX from an external power source? I just broke off one of those clips used to make contact between the Lego electric plating and the RCX PCB, so I'll have to (...) (24 years ago, 21-Oct-00, to lugnet.robotics)
