Re: Palm Trees: old segmented vs. new one piece

(...) Oh, quit complaining... Frank and I could BOTH be active on eBay at the same time. Fortunately for you, we're not. (ALTHOUGH... I AM the reason that WB ran out of everything.) (26 years ago, 24-Jan-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.adventurers)

  Evil character

Fellow brick junkies, All those posts about armies, races, Castle World and special characters inspired me to create a special leader for my dark forces. I haven't found the right name for him yet, but then again, he's not completey finished yet (...) (26 years ago, 24-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

10 things I'd like to do at an AFOL convention...

Perhaps some of you saw the Jan/Feb Mania magazine, with its announcement of a National Convention of the LEGO club. Inside, there is a survey of what club members (who are all assumed to be kids) would like to do at the convention. I think they (...) (26 years ago, 17-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: gear meshings

(...) Hint: Most LEGO dimensions are single digit integer numbers of millimeters. A brick is 8mm wide, 9.6mm tall, a stud is 5mm, an antenna (and all the similar parts) are 3mm. Larger pieces are almost all based on the 8mm brick size (eg a 8t gear (...) (26 years ago, 24-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) I saw your Alien. I thought he was pretty cool!! I just saw a different pic of the Millennia. He's got these huge feet, and a big torso. He actually looks acceptable in this configuration. Has anyone out there got him yet? Care to enlighten (...) (26 years ago, 24-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: New mod to double decker passenger train

(...) Touché;) The only problem with 1 stud equaling 1.25 feet is that standard track gauge in North America is 4 feet 8.5 inches, and the gauge of our track is almost 5 studs, which would translate in a gauge of about 6'!! By rights we *should* be (...) (26 years ago, 24-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

Face packs? Heck, why not better minifig packs?

One thing I'd like to see is a way to buy any of the minifigs, without having to buy ALL the sets I know, I know...you WANT to sell lots of complete sets...)   Re: Harry Potter(ish) lego line possibility?

(...) I've read two of the books, and thought they were amusing, but the plot was identical in both books. The first book might have had some originality, but with seven planned, they're bound to get dull real fast. (IMO, of course) Please FUT (...)   Re: Pnumatic stiff need oil?

It seems to me that very light, clear oils would be best for small parts such as lego machines - light so as not to gum up the works, clear so as not to make an ugly mess. I've used Yomega Brain Lube, which is designed for tiny little yo-yo bearings (...) (26 years ago, 24-Jan-00, to lugnet.technic)

I need some common pieces, I'll pay cash. Here's the list:

Hi! I am trying to reconstruct a decimated 6385 Fire Station that was recently given to me with a lot of missing pieces. Since it is a coolio set, I just can't give up on it.
