Re: New mod to double decker passenger train

(...) Do you mean his 8wides? I tend to agree, and it wasn't till recently that I realised it... 8wides make modeling too easy, you get more room to work in. That's fundamentally what bothers me, he's cheating. Or do you mean the fact that US proto (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: train fans, please help me...

Too bad we have to choose between LUGNETters. What I think would be a powerful message to TLC would be if some LUGNETter won the contest each and every month. (25 years ago, 22-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Nosepiece

Hi Douglas, sorry I have no black nose-piece as spare, but is set 6473 already discontinued in the US? Here it's still in the shelfs. After my first view on James Mathies gorgeous "Starlight Express" engine, I also bought two copies of that set (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: LEGO outlet store?

Ryan- The LEGO Outlet store in virginia is located in the Potomac Mills Outlet Center just off of I-95 in Northern VA--about twenty minutes south of the capital beltway. I believe it is exit 156--there are plenty of signs. As for the shop (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jan-00, to lugnet.technic)

Re: 8480 Space Shuttle have hit $56.25 or less!

Well sorry I can't help you out more, but the best I can do is a store a bit north-east of Atlanta. I visited the Snellville store last night and they had 15 of them left at $75. (Atlanta isn't a big Lego town it would seem, although the outlet (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.technic)

Re: My Giant? Castle in progress

What I like with your castle at this point is the way you're using not only grey, but also black and dark grey for the structure. I've seen many castles made using only one colour for the walls, and they look a tad dull. Fredrik (25 years ago, 22-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Where to find 8880 & 8448

About two weeks ago, I found it (8448) at the Lego Outlet store in northern Virginia for $99.99. I've seen it at TRU here in the LA area but retail on that thing is the $129 that Bryan noted. James (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jan-00, to lugnet.technic)
