  Re: Farlie A

(...) Be that as it may, Mr Justus did make his presence known here a few weeks back, and let us know that he was reading this group.   Re: Clearance price-matching (was Re: Last round of Target markdowns?)

(...) Once again, Lar, you prove to be all wise. That is a great plan which I wish I had employed. My Target had at least 12 4561s sitting around yesterday for $77.xx. After calling today and finding out that they marked them down to $32.44, I went (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Warner Bros "dotcom"

(...) Didn't double my order, but it did come via FedEx today. Six 8735 motor sets! Just need to figure out how to hook them all up to my one lonely RCX (I missed the clearance sales at Target here, so I still just have one). I'll also be starting (...)   Re: Clearance price-matching (was Re: Last round of Target markdowns?)

(...) I don't understand this logic. 'We don't want it anymore, so it's on clearance. But you can return it for the 40% off price and we'll give you all the money back. Then we WILL sell it again, but at a MUCH LOWER price, but NOT TO YOU, because (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Attention Lego Group: Children don't like juniorization, either!

(...) The terms you're looking for are POOP and SPUD. POOP: "piece out of pieces" -- prefab, juniorized SPUD: "special-purpose, unlegoish/useless/ugly, decorative" -- over-specialized Steve (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Storage needed

(...) This is the first thing i do when i bring home new ones from Kmart. Highly recommended, as the lids tend to get in the way when you are building. Troy (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.storage)

Re: Last round of Target markdowns?

  camera mounts?

Dear Lego- Have you ever considered making a specialized brick that would serve as a camera mount? It would basically be like the head on a tripod but the base is a brick that could be snapped onto RC or robotic vehicles. -- dave (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Teeny shack

(...) I can't stand the interior... I started building it and only got up a few levels before I realized that I wasn't going to be able to do a nice interior...
