(...) Didn't double my order, but it did come via FedEx today. Six 8735 motor sets!   Re: Clearance price-matching (was Re: Last round of Target markdowns?)

(...) I don't understand this logic. 'We don't want it anymore, so it's on clearance. But you can return it for the 40% off price and we'll give you all the money back. Then we WILL sell it again, but at a MUCH LOWER price, but NOT TO YOU, because (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Storage needed

(...) This is the first thing i do when i bring home new ones from Kmart. Highly recommended, as the lids tend to get in the way when you are building. Troy (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.storage)

Re: Last round of Target markdowns?

  camera mounts?

Dear Lego- Have you ever considered making a specialized brick that would serve as a camera mount? It would basically be like the head on a tripod but the base is a brick that could be snapped onto RC or robotic vehicles. -- dave (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Teeny shack

  (limited) set trading opportunity

Hi. I'm planning to start an auction of mostly town and castle sets soon on ebay, but will give an opportunity to trade for some of the things I'm really interested in first, all 4.5V/12V train sets.   Re: Attaching train bogies

Use one. You want a loose boogie plate because that reduces your friction while turning. They seem to spin too easily when off of the tracks, but on the tracks, they work great. Mike Nick Goetz <ngoetz@iquest.net> wrote in message (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Attaching train bogies

Can someone share with me the proper way to attach a bogie to a non-train platform? In other words, attach it to a standard 6x6 plate. My guess is to use a Technic plate but I can't figure out if I use one or two, or if there is a better method. It (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)
