Are there any '3x3 facet' pieces (lt. grey) in any currently available sets? (URL) like the diagonal of a 3x3 brick, with one side angled, the other side stepped, with 3 studs on top) Thanks! DaveE (25 years ago, 19-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Q: How useful is "6497 Twisted Time Train" for LEGO trains?

It's a pity that the set didn't come with a pirate ship hull middle segment. Pirate nuts would have been snapping the set up to get hull segments, and the train fans could have gone in with them to get the train nose elements. -- jthompson@esker.com (...)   Re: Ldlite for OpenGL and Linux (and uppercase filenames)

(...) I agree, but my preference isn't so strong that I'd actually *want* to take the effort to repackage the distribution files. Also, I don't know if the ARC compression format/tool will allow lower-case filenames. (...) Yes, in LDraw code, the (...) (25 years ago, 19-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: "Free Web Space"

I've heard that Tripod will yank your account if they get the idea that you are using them to host images to be displayed from other servers (ie use them as a holding ground for ebay auction images or the like).   Re: Ldlite for OpenGL and Linux (and uppercase filenames)

(...) Filenames were not changed to take advantage of the "force stud-drawing" "feature" of LEdit. The code inside of several files was changed to reference stud.dat or STUD.DAT. But the primitive file remained STUD.DAT. So this is not an issue for (...) (25 years ago, 19-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: 2951 (not quite finished)

(...) I have a ton of these as well. Almost all of my Lego is in these, and they work great for me. I use Sterlite (sp?) containers (very similar to Rubbermaid). I have ten shoebox size containers for various specialty pieces (and use 25th Anniversary tubs for my basic bricks).
