Cool robot platform and a question...

Thanks to the help of Todd Graham (thanks Todd), I've found a really cool, low cost, RC robot platform. It's the same platform used by USC's 1997 RoboCup entry, the Nikko Hercules! It has 4 hard plastic drive wheels, dual drive motors, differential (...) (27 years ago, 3-Nov-98, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: Mindstorms in Entertainment Weekly

During the Vikings/Tampa Bay football (America:) last sunday (11/1), there was a Lego Mindstorm ads. Pretty funny, a robot sneaking up on a bathtub, and when the wife sticks her head out, the robot snaps a picture and scurries off. -Lee. (...) (...)   Re: Workspace

  A simple bumper 'bot

Hi, all, I finally got my hands on a Mindstorms set a couple weeks ago, and I thought that I'd try to use one of the built-in programs before diving into Robolab (I have Macs at home). So, I built a bumper 'bot that uses the built-in code in RCX (...) (27 years ago, 3-Nov-98, to lugnet.robotics)

I think the Snow Speeder is a two seater!

I zoomed in on the image of the Snow Speeder, and I think it has a rear window. It appears to be the same smokey color as the front canopy, and it appears to be a 3x4x1.3 sloped airplane windshield. I think I see the curved edge of the windshield, (...) (27 years ago, 3-Nov-98, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general, lugnet.publish)

  Mindstorms in Entertainment Weekly

Hi, all, This week's Entertainment Weekly (dated 11/6/98, with Alanis Morissette on the cover) has in its Multimedia section a brief writeup on Mindstorms. It's pretty basic stuff, written up in EW's typically glib fashion. Also shown is a photo of (...) (27 years ago, 3-Nov-98, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.general)
