  Re: Language slipping?

(...) EGAD!!! Maybe our Republican Conservative leaders are right! Maybe we are "slouching towards Gomorrah"! :-) <----- (A debauched expression.) Gary Istok (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.general)

Re: A new castle babe!!! (and a weird knight)

(...) Too true. And in the interest of equality, why don't they make printed muscle-bound males to go with these ambitiously-drawn female figures? How are we supposed to make hulking barbarians? Is this some sort of TLG bias? All in fun, Dave! (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Cool Y2K set observations

I recently picked up a few Y2K set. Here are a few unmentioned notes of interest. The artic combo set is a monstrosity of juniorizaton. It does have a polar bear, two parka dudes, a neon orange scorpion, and a trans blue spider. The A-wing and (...) (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

  Language slipping?

Hmm. Hate to be the guy who calls this out, but I've noticed a higher than normal use of "casual use" vulgarity in the last few weeks. Not really from any single "offender" or anything, nor used in a particularly offensive way, but it's there. Just (...) (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.general)
