  Re: Introducing LEGO Direct

To attract a bigger share of the market, look at the popular figures and toys and either liscence them (pokemon lego???) or make something similar. e.g. power rangers were (or are) proplar so make something similar. -- Jonathan Wilson (...)   Re: directional lighting

(...) There are two kinds of Lego lights. #1 - While powered up, they shine constantly, with brightness in direct proportion to how much juice they are getting, i.e. a faster setting = more light. This is independant of the polarity, meaning that (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Introducing LEGO Direct

(...) TLG had some great storage devices in the past. there was those red and blue drawers, great for storing smaller pieces. there were various boxes etc and also those drawstring bags. -- Jonathan Wilson wilsonj@xoommail.com (URL) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: 2000 pictures found on www,lego.com! (Again)

(...) This statement is crap. Why should we now hold back our true feelings and opinions of TLC or anything else? Lugnet has been searchable for as long as I've been here and because of that anyone should know that what's said today can be read (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Minifig box 2 :)

As far as I know the list in the box and the list on the site were correct, so I do believe you are correct, it goes to Tom next :) Hope you found some good stuff :) Tamy (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: 2000 pictures found on www,lego.com! (Again)

(...) Same here. When I read that some pictures were up on the official site I went looking and found a few without doing any sort of "digging". I can almost understand condemning Remy if the pictures weren't easily accessible, but I had no trouble (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: New logo

(...) Do you want us to host copies or can we link direct? Thanks for clarification.. PS I think it's spiffy. (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.publish)

  Re: directional lighting

(...) With only ordinary lights, there is no directionality. If you use the special L&S element you'll get steady in one direction and flashing in the other. There is no all LEGO way to get 9V directional lighting at present that I am aware of. PS I (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)

  directional lighting

I have a question. Suppose I have a Metroliner (I wish!) that has a motor and working headlights in both engines. When the train is moving, will both engines' lights light up, or do only the lights light up for that direction? In other words, will (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)

Re: 2000 pictures found on www,lego.com! (Again)

Mookie, I think you should not take this personal, but as we know do know that TLC is listening us for sure and that they will explain us soon how they would like us to behave towards those new we should wait these few days. I am sure Todd only (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: What is Fabuland?

(...) Yep. That's reasonable - my cousin has a cat, a mouse, and a sailor/walrus. The fabuland accesories are great - that same cousin, having lost interest in lego, gave me a REFRIDGERATOR full of food, a sink, and more cool stuff. -Shiri (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.fabuland)

  Cybermaster?

Hi I own RIS + Extreme Creatures and I wonder if Cybermaster is something for me? Can I integrate it into my existing units?? //Henrik (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Minifig box 2 :)

OK, this box has arrived. In fact, I think I'm ready to send it out. I took a few items, and so did Taya and so did Nik. I made Taya and Nik get stuff out of their collections to cover their trades, and I just raided some brand new sets that I (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: 2000 pictures found on www,lego.com! (Again)

These are on the OFFICIAL website? why is this wrong? I can access them from their MENU.. not from digging around. I have to say.. I'm getting a little tired of the power hunger around here.. what are we supposed to do? sit on our damn hands and not (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Introducing LEGO Direct

Hi Brad and LEGO Direct service team, a huge welcome to lugnet - oh this has been said already?   Re: broken motor

(...) I shan't. You don't have a broken motor. Claiming that you do and you want a free replacement is fraud. You should have procured spares when you had the chance, they were available from Lego UK. Or I'll sell you one of mine, USD 100. (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)
