Hi, Would anyone in the UK, preferably someone going to the fest on 11/12 be willing to swap a MISB shuttle for a MISB 8880 supercar? I will be bringing two 8880's to the fest, but if anyone wants to trade, PLMK beforehand if possible. As I have a (...) (25 years ago, 2-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Please help, I need a 6557 set

Well LUGNET users I have completely struck out again. I have desperately been trying to locate a 6557 Divers set before Christmas and I finally found one three days ago on Ebay (shudder, shudder). Well the bidding started at $15.99 which considering (...) (25 years ago, 2-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: Buy LEGO trains on the web in Europe

(...) Looks like a decent internet company, with a very good selection. I think they ship to almost all of Europe, except fo a couple of countries or so, but they have plans to increase their presence there. They do not, however, ship to the States. (...)   Re: Partsref is Moving to LUGNET

(...) This is kludgy but might work. Details left as an exercise. Your problem is that what you want is to know when a file is *new to YOU* not what it's timestamp is. Keep two complete sets of .dat files. One is an image of the state of files, but (...) (25 years ago, 2-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.db.brictionary, lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: Dimensions of a SD40 and GP35

(...) Yes. "Big red, an homage to the PA-1". I should build another one, when I get that one out it looks kind of primitive now. The state of the art in Lego Train Modeling has advanced a fair bit since december 1997 when that was built. (25 years ago, 2-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Scott Sanburn's LEGO Parts Auction - sets 7150 & 7171 - Update 2

To All; I have posted several parts lots to E-Bay for my roommate Tony. He has a few extra sets he wants to sell off, so he wants to post all the parts on E-bay of the 7171 Mos Espa Podrace.   Re: Lego trains and the RCX

(...) What's needed in this case, I think, is a relay actuator or something similar. Basically, what you're looking at is a two-wire wire brick, one (the trigger wire) that goes to the RCX and operates a switch or "gate" and another (the supply (...) (25 years ago, 2-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: IR tower timeout question

Nope. It will not receive anything when the tower goes off. Michael- I've been real busy, but if you look in the firmdl (fastdl now?) code, you'll see that there is a "keepalive" function that tests for tower awareness somehow (don't remember the (...) (25 years ago, 2-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Pretty good guess. A quick search on www.eb.com then reveals... "the basic monetary unit of Great Britain, divided (since 1971) decimally into 100 new pence. The term is derived from the fact that, about 775, silver coins known as "sterlings" were (...) (25 years ago, 2-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)
