Re: Unified UK Lego community idea

(...) I went on a cycling holiday during the summer. I'm over 6 feet so my mtn bike is on the big side. This, along with fully loaded panniers put me way over the weight limit. I called the airline before I few and was told that billing me was more (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: e-commerce (was Technic shuttle etc)

In lugnet.loc.uk, Larry Pieniazek writes: But then, I return overages when the cashier makes change (...) Bravo! Why is it that we've gotten into to thinking that if you can't get caught, it's not stealing? i.e.- find a wallet with name and address- (...)   Re: ordinery vs. action minifigs

(...) I've got to disagree about Majisto. All the "specialness" on Majisto are parts. Just parts, parts that can be removed from one fig, and used on another fig. Without the wizard's hat, beard, cape and wand, Majisto is just a blue peasant. No (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Storage

Right now I've broken off two sets (primarily) from my main collection for 'bot building: The RIS and the Research Sub (Rescue sub?). The two boxes from those are fairly well compartmentalized, and work well. However, I am starting to find running (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  4940 Granite Grinder Modification

This may have been posted before as it seems an obvious fix to the 4940 Granite Grinder model. I just got this set last week and after building it could not understand why Lego omitted a crank to turn the large drill. It's a simple fix - another (...)   Vector 2X Compass

Hello - I'm having some trouble figuring out how to wire Precision Navigation's Vector 2X Compass for use with the Handy Board. I've checked out the files in ".../software/contrib/tomb/" on the Handy Board site, but I'm sort of at a loss. Due to the (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Re: e-commerce (was Technic shuttle etc)

You appear to be judging others by your standards. That aside, I think there are very little grounds for perusing this matter (expecting them to honor their prices) any further. They have offered a full refund, which is the minimum they have to to (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Technic Shuttle for £4!!

(...) I'm over here in the states and I din NOT know that. I don't feel insulted. By "of course" I assume that there is a history in the etymology of the word that makes it an insult.
