  Re: Outlet Mall Locations?

(...) nice (...) I did this at LEGOLAND-Windsor as well. I had to buy a ticket and as long as I returned to the ticket kiosk within 30 minutes the entire fee was refunded. Mike - mike_walsh@mindspring.com (URL) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Lego In Chu?

(...) At the LL Carlsbad Legofest some fellow AFOLs from Japan brought one of these. It wasn't any of the sets that've been mentioned so far; I believe it was the Paradisa motorboat. Jeff (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Enough trans-antifreeze!

(...) Depends on what you hit it with. It's not designed to go toe to toe with capital ships; that's what capital ships are for, naturally. ;) The purpose of Marathon was to test modularity in large, multi-lobed vessels; to test the feasability of (...)   Re: from whence do these come? Multi-holed grey brick quest

Hello Craig, I've been looking for the same set. I saw a Lego history site that talks about this set and even had a few pics. I think it was an English site. I can't remember the number of the set that contained the gears and chain links either. I (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: WTT/B: "tentacle" pieces - *LOTS* of 'em

(...) D'OH!!! Ssshhhhhh!!!!!!! I said, it's a _SECRET_! :-) (...) _IF_ the whatever-the-[censored]-it-is ever gets done, yes, I _will_ post photos of it. I'd _especially_ like to publicly unveil it at another occurrence of Steve Jackson's Lego (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: Outlet Mall Locations?

(...) That's certainly one of the venues I'd recommend, but I'm not really sure what the logic is behind their store placement... I'd be curious to find out why in the world they put one in Georgia to begin with... I'm not sure if they want to avoid (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Hardest Piece to remove? Final Answer

I did this recently, and I had little trouble. They were two new ones, so that may be the reason. Jeff (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: A challenge for seasoned Lego Trainers...

(...) Are there any details out on the web of this? I'm updating my web pages and notice that I have very few links for train automation. (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.build)

  Re: Lego In Chu?

(...) Heh, I call these sets "Shitfy" without the "F"! But seriously, the quality is REALLY bad. These bricks make MegaBlocks look good. The instructions are like colour photocopies. The color is way off, and the printing on the minifigs (I can't (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: WTT/B: "tentacle" pieces - *LOTS* of 'em

Since many of the "tentacle" (aka "arm") pieces that I'm needing for one of my projects are available _only_ in Aquazone sets (at least, as far as I know), I thought that I might get better response if I posted here. However, since I am asking for (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.aquazone)

  Re: Outlet Mall Locations?

(...) I've run into this at at LLC and LLW, and I'm fairly certain they aren't supposed to, but will. My experience seems to be very dependant on how nice the person on the other side of the glass is, and on how polite I'm being. Showing up towards (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Outlet Mall Locations?

(...) Not when I was there you didn't. You just left you're drivers liscense with Customer Service and you could go in. Admittedly, you only had a half-hour or so, and it was during opening weekend, so they may've changed their policy. Jeff (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Clone DATs--any interest?

(...) It's funny you should mention that; I had the same thought once I'd downloaded the latest version of L3P and started messing around with the quality settings. If I were to use a CSTUD.DAT file, what would have to be different about it for L3P (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands, lugnet.cad.dev)
