Re: places to find good selection/deals?

(...) and (...) I defy you! RES-Q may not be a "classic" town series, but the parts and accessories rock! The main models are pretty fun, but they do have some points I'll admit to being faulty. The colors are odd for a Emergency team, also, they (...) (25 years ago, 17-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: 6031 on sale at Newark Toys R Us

(...) here, (...) I don't think there exists such a thing as a Ninja polybag. I would love to be proved incorrect. I have a Samurai Lord set. At the $2.97 I bought them for, it's too expensive for what you get. But if they were discounted to say (...) (25 years ago, 17-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf.sj)

  places to find good selection/deals?

Hi, Just wondering if anyone can share where they find the best selection and/or deals on LEGOs around the South Bay? The places I have hit are: * Sunnyvale TRU: great selection for a TRU; sometimes, there are good deals on polybags. A few bucks off (...) (25 years ago, 17-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf.sj)

Using motion blur to give the illusion of speed

I've been working a bit lately with making images to capture the impression of movement and speed, and I thought I would share my experiences so far with you. What I do is to use L3P/POV-Ray in the usual way, but I also render many images where the (...) (25 years ago, 17-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad)

(...) I (...) I (...) Hmm will have to scope out the TRU's for the polybags, thanks for the tip!   Re: 2000 Technic

What I would *LOOOOVE* to see for 2000.... Technic Buckets! One with a bunch of small bits, connectors, pins, universals, gears, and so on. The other with beams, bricks, plates, more gears, and the like. Each comparable to other buckets in count and (...) (25 years ago, 17-Nov-99, to lugnet.technic)

Re: What is pictured in the inset by the MF on page 8?

(...) I agree with that. However, it looks like they chose the Tie Fighter and the X-Wing instead for the "wow" effect. (I'm refering to the "collector's items, new for 2000.) No wonder, really, as the Tie Fighter and the X-Wing are much more (...) (25 years ago, 17-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Regarding Rechargeable Alkaline Batteries: DON'T USE THEM DON'T USE THEM DON'T USE THEM DON'T USE THEM Wh- ..Why? you ask, bewildered.   Re: 6031 on sale at Newark Toys R Us

(...) Oh my. Actually, regarding the polybags: at the Newark TRU, they had some I wanted, but i scanned one and it turned up $1.99. I kinda figured they're all that price, since none of them were marked. I did find a whole bunch of Bandit's Wheelgun (...) (25 years ago, 17-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf.sj)
