  Re: 3-pc feather/plume set in GREEN ???

(...) Hmm - Good Question, but I don't think it was ever produced in green. Unfortunately, green was not a major Lego color in the heyday of those feather plume wheels, would have been nice though. Dan (25 years ago, 16-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: LEGO Adverts on Channel 5

Lego definitely seem to be making a big sales push for Christmas this year. I have seen both the Star Wars and Znap ads on TV recently, and today in Kilmarnock there were two big billboard ads in the shopping arcade for the Ultimate Lego Guide. (...) (25 years ago, 16-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: HandyBoard Charging

Danny, Since you imply that your battery does not take any charge at all, it sounds to me as though your problem is: (1) fuse F1 is open, or (2) a cell in your battery pack is open, or (3) one of the battery wires or its associated PCB land is open.   Lego Insurance?

I'm not sure which catagory this belongs in, so I figured it would be safe to post it here. I'm going to be moving soon and I'm getting renter's insurance. Now, I've got several items that are easy to insure at face value (my computer, stereo, (...) (25 years ago, 16-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

Snowspeeder for $11.99 at Medallion Target

I was at the Medallion Center Target store a couple of weeks ago and picked up a Snow Speeder for the mis-price of $11.99 (normally $19.99). Last time I was there, it was still priced as such. James Wilson (25 years ago, 16-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.us.tx.dfw)

(...) Yes and we had one of the first Apple II+ computers around 1978 or 1979 I think (not to clear as far as the date). We thought it was the best thing ever.
