Agree with all the preceding comments - the whole thing was most
enjoyable if too short, and a good opportunity to meet fellow builders
and collectors. I took a few snaps, but the film will remain in the
camera until the NW fest, whereupon I'll post the lot on my site.
The 3 vehicles were truly excellent; a series 3 landrover in green, a
black discovery and what looked like a red Porsche Boxster for a guess.
That big crate of parts was very desirable - sky blue bricks a la Maersk
truck, much tan, brown, dark grey etc that you can only dream about.
I secured James's private email address which should provide a useful
ear inside lego. He was interested to hear my comments about the adult
lego market (eg difficulty in obtaining bricks in quantity, etc). He was
most impressed with the model of my dog that I took along, I asked if
they ever used freelance builders! (Not normally was the reply).
