  Cheshire shopping report

Just a couple of things I noticed recently: Warrington TRU has some RBRs (6289). They were on the top shelf, without prices, but IIRC they were about GBP50 last time I bought one. Cheshire Oaks Toy World had 6 5561 Bigfoots (feet?) for GBP50 apiece (...) (25 years ago, 10-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

My thoughts on the new Castle line

General Comments (mostly negative): 1. The Maiden appears to come only in the largest set (6091) - arghh! 2. Visored helmets are back!! 3. Why did they do the tower peaks in blue again - I'd kill for those in red!! 4. Stained glass decal - there is (...) (25 years ago, 10-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

Ciao Marco, (...) (25 years ago, 10-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.it)

  RockRaiders minifig pack for Y2K

Hey, did anyone see the new minifig pack that's coming out in 2000. It has all five minifigs, Yes, even the orange guy that comes only in the largest set. I'm not really into RR, but I think the figs are cool, and they work good as Star Wars (...) (25 years ago, 10-Nov-99, to lugnet.underground)

  Re: Another 2000 Rant

Well, I have to disagree on the Arctic part. Maybe those animals aren't being rescued at all; maybe they are fossils or monsters frozen in the ice for eons before being unearthed to wreck havoc among a small team of explorers. I think Lego had given (...) (25 years ago, 10-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)
