Re: Bigger/better scans of 2000 sets?

(...) Gaah! Why quibble over Semantics? ;) I generally use the overhead footprint when determining names. Besides, no one name is right. I did put in the part number, ya know. (...) Umm... Sorry, it is *not* part 6081. It does *not* have the (...) (25 years ago, 8-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Hapless WinNT user

That's me, trying to use legOS 0.2.2 on WinNT with CygWin. I'm using the same tools that worked for me for legOS 0.1.7. Make complains when it tries to build dll, specifically when it tries to compile loader.c. I get a bunch of redefined symbols and (...) (25 years ago, 8-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Re: Does anyone actually still use theirs??

(...) It makes a good addition if you only have one RCX. You can use it to do some of the simple reactive behavior in order to save sensor and motor slots on the RCX - a scarce resource indeed. Søren Bak (25 years ago, 8-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics.codepilot)

Re: Look at this orange car

(...) That's a nice little gondola. It looks like those parts come from the Scala set 3110 Four Animal Friends (which comes with one of them and costs USD 7.00 from S@H). No if only there would be a matching wall section so that one could make a (...) (25 years ago, 8-Nov-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Lego solar cell and capacitor

I hadn't seen this mentioned anywhere yet. (URL) Unfortunately, I see (easy) way to power an RCX using these new pieces. Of course, with some hacking it may well be doable. In the FAQ, it describes using the motor as a generator to charge the (...) (25 years ago, 8-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Thoughts on McPromo Sets

(...) #1 has the most bricks, and is the best model (what *is* the #2 model?). But set #2 has black bricks & slopes. #3 has the pink plates, and #4 has green bricks and slopes. The nice thing about the printed McD slopes is they are smooth, so it (...) (25 years ago, 8-Nov-99, to lugnet.promo)

  Re: Finds at local TRU

(...) Wow, you're a generous guy. :) I wouldn't drive 2 hours to pick up Lego sets for someone else no matter what the markup, least of all for $5. (25 years ago, 8-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: Palm Pilot to RCX remote controller
