Hello LegoHeads

Has anyone read about the small crickets they are developing over at
MIT.
Do you think they will become a lego product? They look very cool.
I do not yet have a RCX, but i'll be looking forward to christmas:-)

They had a bunch of them to play with at Mindfest.  I'd love to have one right
now!  I've managed to build an eight-legged walker, but it's just not strong
enough to support both motors and an RCX.  The cricket, with just 1 9V battery
and little structural weight, would be great for my spider.

I think it only had two outputs, though.  I'd be suprised if it became a Lego
product without significant overhaul, since it requires directly connecting
motor wires, and couldn't much rough play.

  Task syncronization between two rcx's?

Hello LegoHeads I have read that two RCX's can communicate with eachother through the IR port. I would like to know to what extend that communication goes. Is it possible to syncronize between to task's running on different rcx's? Has anyone read (...) (25 years ago, 8-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)
