(...) Sorry, I meant set #7, its a yellow freestyle propeller with a 1x1 cylinder in the center. (...) The 2x2 red brick.   Re: more on McDonalds promo sets

(...) Those look suspiciously like TLG numbers. I'm definitely going on the assumption that the four-digit number is the actual set number. Steve (25 years ago, 1-Nov-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.promo)

  Re: McDonalds Info

[x-posted and f-upped to lugnet.promo] (...) I wouldn't describe these sets as "wretched". They are as good as any other 18-piece set LEGO has released lately. It's true they aren't very attractive for AFOL builders, but they are head-and-shoulders (...) (25 years ago, 1-Nov-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.promo)

  Re: Busy Bee Castle News

(...) Oh, don't get me wrong. For the vast majority of people, this IS a good deal. But I own 3 6090's already, and I think the most I paid for one was about $80. I paid around $25-30 for one and less than $60 for the other. So the prospect of (...) (25 years ago, 1-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) That's interesting -- on the instruction sheet, there isn't much (if any visible difference between the blue in set #8, and the purple/blue in set #5. Looking at the 1+4+5+6+7+8 model, there is some apparent color difference between the (...) (25 years ago, 1-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

I sometimes use the webspace as a fileserver/junk box, I do have a real page in the works but it is not complete and I only get an hour or so a week to work on it. The town pics you saw were of the current setup I have. It's 2x4 baseplates large. (...) (25 years ago, 1-Nov-99, to lugnet.trains)

Wow! This is a good set!

If you hate small sets, stop reading now. I love the 6420. It´s a mail-man with a bike, two letters and a mail-box. I have two of them already, and I´m going to buy more, because they are not in the catalogue for -99 (not in Sweden) and they´ll (...) (25 years ago, 1-Nov-99, to lugnet.town)

Nice. Snoopy me went to check out the rest of your web page and noticed a bunch of town pictures. What are they (and is there a page using them hidden somewhere)? They look nice and have some nice ideas shown. (25 years ago, 1-Nov-99, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Yep, the last time I ordered, they still had them in stock... I'd be curious to know just how many OTHER castle sets they have in stock that aren't advertised in the catalogs etc... DaveE (25 years ago, 1-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.market.shopping)
