  Re: Home layouts

I do and it's a lot easier to set up. Before, the living room was carpeting but it was getting old and my dad and I decided to take it out and put in a wood laminate fooring (Pergo). I don't have a layout all the time but I can set up one any time (...) (25 years ago, 13-Oct-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Timmy

(...) Hiding, huh? Don't worry, I can be patient. You'll have to crawl back out eventually, if only to ask me to send another cheque to someone. I can thump you then... :) Simon (URL) (25 years ago, 13-Oct-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Adventurers set 5901?

(...) Do you mean the 5906 sets? The 5096 is an obscure Duplo set from several years ago and wouldn't really fit in this posting group, but 5906 is from the Jungle Adventurers subtheme and would. Just hoping to clear this up. Mark L (25 years ago, 13-Oct-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: Building a moon-display for your space models

(...) Just had a look, and I think you're onto something good <grin>. As for your question about backgrounds, I might off the notion of looking at the FAQ list for rec.models.railroad in the section on construction. They've got similar problems to (...) (25 years ago, 13-Oct-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Home layouts

I've got a layout set up in my bedroom. My roomate and I rescued a ping-pong table from being thrown away (basically we were asked to throw it away, so we said ok and kept it.) We split it so we both have a 4.5 X 5 foot table in our rooms for LEGO. (...) (25 years ago, 13-Oct-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: FA(eBay): blue hoppers

I agree that there are sets that I would pay a little more for (the hopper car is one of them), but I have pretty limited resources and am trying to get other stuff too. That's why I am trying to be very strict with my rule. In a couple years, when (...) (25 years ago, 13-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.auction, lugnet.market.theory)

  Re: Imperial Guard Backpack

  Imperial Guard Backpack

I have an extra IG backpack for anyone who needs it. Will trade for pirate stuff or minifig/torsos. (Yeah so this should go on buy-sell-trade, but I like this forum better--more targeted) Drop me an email Ed (25 years ago, 13-Oct-99, to lugnet.pirates)

  Mini Cabover Semi

  Re: Fire Extinguishers

  Re: FA(eBay): blue hoppers

The problem with that is that what Larry sees as decent and what I see as decent are two different things. Which is fine by me.
