bruce, for the HB you need to write data to $7000 to control the
motors. see appendix B of the 6.270 manual at
http://el.www.media.mit.edu/projects/handy-board/techdocs/
and also the HB FAQ

| From what I could figure out from the literature on the HB, the motor controller circuit is controlled by Port B on the 6811. With a little tinkerin last nite I was trying to set/reset some of the pins poking values into $1004 (Got this from "An (...) (27 years ago, 13-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
