  Re: Classic Space

(...) Oh my. I think I speak for a lot of people when I say: definitely yes. Although, if you want to save them for your son, he might appreciate that too. "Turning him loose" sounds a bit frightning -- maybe wait 'til he can appreciate them. But: (...) (25 years ago, 4-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: Somebody help.

(...) You can work through writer's block, trust me. Putting ANYthing down on paper gets you started. Not sure most of the advice I could offer writing-wise would be of much use to a freshman in high school, so do what I suggested and talk to a (...) (25 years ago, 4-Oct-99, to lugnet.people)

  Re: Lugnet Newsgroups Anniversary!

(...) Aha -- found it! Here's that message: (URL) 'Date' header says "4 Oct 1998 00:00:00 GMT", which is obviously wrong, but there's another header which says "04 Oct 1998 17:13:50 CDT", which sounds right on. So if my TZ math is correct, this (...) (25 years ago, 4-Oct-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.announce)

  Classic Space

Is there anyone out there that wants any classic space sets/bits. I have a whole box full space bits from the mid to late 80's including 6980 6970, and goodness knows what else. I seem to have 7 crator plates and loads of grey spaceship wings(?) and (...) (25 years ago, 4-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Reply to "New Star Wars LEGO"

Where did you here that the Millenium Falcon had been confirmed for a 2000 release. I just called TLG on Friday and they told me that NO new Star Wars sets have been announced. NOTHING from the 2000 product line has been announced. They did say that (...) (25 years ago, 4-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

All high bids made on or before 9/30/99 have advanced to GOING 1; those that were GOING 1/2 in the last update all have advanced to the next level. Welcome to my third RTL auction.   Re: Proxy bidding mechanics questions...

(...) I think I see what you're getting at but I don't see any other way to do it. You can't make the current bid $3.10 or $2.90, so it has to be $3.00. Yeah, that pretty much says, "hey! you hit it right on the dot!" but I guess you have to accept (...) (25 years ago, 3-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.theory)
