  Re: New starwars sets.

(...) The only set that has been officially announced (that I am aware of) is the Millennium Falcon. Hey, I just now thought of something the instant I typed that: I bet they didn't release the Falcon this year is because they want to release the (...) (25 years ago, 3-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Does anyone accually like 4561?

Yeah - I like it, and my mate Chris (a non-Internet AFOL) does too. I just got my 4561 on Friday and it looks a lot better built than it does in the catalogue. I won't say it's perfect - it has it's good and bad points. The obvious bad point is the (...) (25 years ago, 3-Oct-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.reviews)

  New starwars sets.

Has anyone heard what the new starwars sets for the next year are going to be, like the Millennium Falcon, or Slave I? (25 years ago, 3-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Shouting in Caps (was: Re: REGARDING A MESSAGE A FEW DAYS AGO.)

John, (if you're listening), Although there are (currently) no rules here about shouting in all-caps, if you do disturb the peace often enough (i.e., starting flamewars or generating visible complaints by your repeatedly posting in all-caps), (...)   Re: Download problem

I've looked at a couple of traces and it looks like the serial driver just stops receiving data after a certain point. One theory is that something happens (framing error or overflow), which then keeps the driver from relaying more information. I've (...) (25 years ago, 3-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

  Re: Cookies ?

They would be the same tins as earlier found in UK Tesco's stores then. One small difference though, the four sets we were offered were 2880, 2884, 2886, and 2849! (Duckie) Dave Till Oliver Giesen wrote in message ... (...) (25 years ago, 3-Oct-99, to lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.general)

  any site of orange buckets?

With Halloween fast approaching, has anyone seen any orange buckets in local stores? Also, if anyone recalls the set number for this, I sure appreciate (couldn't find on fib'snork or pause sites). Best, dan parker PNLTC (25 years ago, 3-Oct-99, to lugnet.promo)

Rpr's big auction - 2nd announcement and 1st public update.

Hi, it's been a while, but I'm back! This is the second announcement and first public update. As you can see, the train stuff is very popular.   Re: Proxy bidding mechanics questions...

I don't see # 2 as correct. Rae had her bid in first, so if Chris bid $2.00, Rae should have the winning bid at $2.00, NOT $2.10, because she has the earlier bid. You shouldn't increment her's OVER his hard bid, just equal to it. So if you write (...) (25 years ago, 3-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.theory)

  Proxy bidding mechanics questions...
