Looks like the 8250 Rescue Sub is being replaced by an "upgraded" version (#8299) which includes a CD-ROM (on e-toys at (URL) ) for $50--thus explaining the reduced price via Shop-at-Home. E-toys talks about the motor (#8720), but I don't think (...) (25 years ago, 28-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Hmmm. For $200, I'd much rather have a second MindStorms RIS kit {salivating} than two DDKs, even as a lifelong R2 fan.
