How long is a length of monorail track?

How long is a length of monorail straight track? Easy-- 32 studs. But how long is a length of CURVED monorail track? And (the kicker), how long is a length of monorail RAMP? <GEEK LEVEL="HIGH" CATEGORY="MATH"> CURVED TRACK: For the curved track, it (...) (14 years ago, 8-Oct-10, to lugnet.general)

  Sears Wishbook

I think it has been out for awhile, but I just got a copy of the Sears Wishbook. The most interesting thing about it is that it gives me some idea of what sets might show up at the Sears Outlet store later. 8093 Plo Koon's starfighter $34.99 8096 (...) (14 years ago, 8-Oct-10, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: Tore's Modulex parts in LDraw

(...) How about importing them into a free source-control hosting service like Google Code or GitHub? That way anyone can contribute and download quite easily, and there's very little setup and maintenance work for anyone to do. Allen (14 years ago, 8-Oct-10, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Tore's Modulex parts in LDraw

(...) That sounds like a challenge to me! (surely someone knows some way they interact :) ) If someone showed a way these interoperated would that make a different answer? I don't think LDraw should host clone parts, but these are actually made by (...) (14 years ago, 8-Oct-10, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Tore's Modulex parts in LDraw

(...) The Wiki can host the page put the upload has to be done somewhere else. You really won't try the uploader used for our CMS. A separate PT would obviously be a total different story or a new CMS. w. (14 years ago, 8-Oct-10, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Greetings from outer space

(...) AWESOME! Spotlighted. Looking forward to your pattern prog, though it uses .net 3.5 and won't run on my old Win2000. It is really high time to do the small step for a man and upgrade to 7. w. (14 years ago, 8-Oct-10, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Tore's Modulex parts in LDraw

(...) I think you are right. I wouldn't mind them being on the PT, but I will not work for it. However, I think there should be a permanent "official" or at least semi-official respority for them somewhere. Chris started out good, but I guess like (...)   Greetings from outer space

In the next days I'll submit the last missing patterned "UFO" part. (it is probably a pattern for 30116..) Here is a picture from the set 69151 to gain an little impression of that theme: (URL) (14 years ago, 7-Oct-10, to lugnet.cad, FTX) !

Re: Tore's Modulex parts in LDraw

(...) At first thought I am with you, but at second thought I feel that it should not be on the parts tracker. As far as I know the modulex parts do not fit in real life with the LEGO System Bricks. So the modulex is much different than the other (...) (14 years ago, 7-Oct-10, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  TRU Oct 8-14

Bricktober continues with the free minifig with $35 purchase. I haven't been to a TRU, but a friend told me the one one on West Broadway in Vancouver (just east of Granville) is letting you pick out any of the four figs you want, rather than having (...) (14 years ago, 7-Oct-10, to lugnet.loc.ca)

  Re: Wind-Up Clock

(...) I suppose I DO have a bit of a fixation... I have been looking out for a true "wind-up" motor, but don't have one yet. My solution is to have one gear in the drive train that slides out of position to disengage the drive from the clockwork and (...) (14 years ago, 7-Oct-10, to lugnet.technic)

  Modulex parts in LDraw

(...) Yes, maybe so. I would love to see them there, but I forsee huge discussions on, for example: * Scale. We decided earlier to use a different scale than other parts from LEGO. That may likely be discussed again. I think the only reasonable (...) (14 years ago, 6-Oct-10, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Wind-Up Clock

(...) Aren't you a bit obsessed by time? ;o) Very nice clock! I don't see how you wind-up the pull back motors - perhaps a true windup motor such as (URL) would have been easier to use? Philo (14 years ago, 7-Oct-10, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Microscale truss bridge

  Wind-Up Clock

I wanted to create a clock that did not rely on weights for the drive. I connected two pull-back motors to create a "wind-up" clock that indicates minutes and seconds and will run for about 30 minutes on one winding. (URL) More pictures, links and a (...)
