(...) I read the sheet as saying the MINIMUM load is 125K, and the block diagram indicates a buffered output. It would be a good idea to buffer the output, but may not be strictly necessary. Thanks for the tip, Craig. Yeah, I am trying to make a few unique faces and torsos for minifigs of my friends. Gentlemen The spec sheet for the part indicates that the 2.5 volt reference is an *output* for reference purposes only. The maximum load is 20 microamps. In other words, that pin should only be tied to a high impedance input on a voltage comparator (...) (27 years ago, 7-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Nice. Very nice. Except for those pesky decals. :-) one nit... the grab irons (on the right side) are too close together. They should be spaced the spacing of a widely spaced ladder rung. (yes, I know that's the spacing of the minifig ladder, but (...) (27 years ago, 8-Sep-99, to lugnet.trains)

Tobias, I am 15 years old and I love mindstorms. I never really got a chance to experiment with the included software but i found that NQC was very easy to learn. I would recomend using the RCX Command Center made by Mark Overmars because that has (...) (27 years ago, 8-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)

If all you want to know is the output then the RCX will display that - using the View button to show the sensor input you're interested in. If you want to play pretty noises the only alternative I can think of (and this is ugly) is along the lines (...) (27 years ago, 7-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)
