Re: LPub4 callout arrows vs. pointers

(...) LOL. And if you had not asked, someone (me :-) would have asked after the next release to re-integrate the old style pointers. (16 years ago, 20-Dec-08, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LPub4 callout arrows vs. pointers

(...) These are great ideas and on the list of todos, but they will have to wait for some future release. I've always assumed that LPub would support the double page concept so that you could have arrows cross pages, but thats going to take a lot of (...) (16 years ago, 20-Dec-08, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LPub4 callout arrows vs. pointers

Great news Kevin! I too would like to see the BOM back. And it would indeed be so nice to be able to add corners to the callout arrows. Perhaps even a line to the next page? On the other hand, I like the pointers as they are now too. If it is (...) (16 years ago, 19-Dec-08, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Black faces in LPub generated PDF when printing

(...) Wikipedia says Lincoln Logs originated in 1916/17. K'nex is much newer, so they must have bought the rights to the product. Luckily for my credit card, I'm going to be out of town for the duration of the TRU sale. :-) -Chris (16 years ago, 18-Dec-08, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: Black faces in LPub generated PDF when printing

(...) I don't think there's any direct printing involved but printing the PDF to another PDF as an interim stage may fix (or at least expose) any non-supported PDF in the LPUB output. Tim (16 years ago, 18-Dec-08, to lugnet.cad)

  LPub4 callout arrows vs. pointers

I've been working a lot on 4.0.0.2. One of the changes I've made is to replace the callout pointers (the triangles), with arrows. The arrow color is the same as the callout border. You will have choices on arrowhead dimensions and shaft thickness. (...) (16 years ago, 18-Dec-08, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Black faces in LPub generated PDF when printing

(...) Try printing the PDF to a PDF and then printing that. It seems to me that the HP printer may be messing up its postscript (or related system) so this may fix that issue. Tim (16 years ago, 18-Dec-08, to lugnet.cad)

Black faces in LPub generated PDF when printing

  Re: POV Coordinate Question

(...) I'm copying it into the clipboard and pasting it into POV. Everything looks good like the angle and the orientation, I just get this mirror image problem. Looks like I don't get the problem when I use the camera directly out of L3P. Eric (16 years ago, 18-Dec-08, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: POV Coordinate Question

(...) That's very strange. I just tested LDView's "Show POV-Ray Camera Info" command on a car model, and it didn't reverse things. Are you sure you aren't modifying the camera that comes out of LDView in some way? Also, are you hitting OK on the (...) (16 years ago, 18-Dec-08, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: POV Coordinate Question

(...) I usually use L3P to create the file, but then I replace the camera with a definition from LDView. If I can just change the sign, that will be easy. Eric (16 years ago, 17-Dec-08, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: POV Coordinate Question

  POV Coordinate Question

While doing renderings, I've noticed something odd. POV-Ray mirrors all the models across the XY axis. For instance, look at this image of (URL) 853>. It appears to be right hand drive, but the model I made it from is left hand drive. This isn't (...) (16 years ago, 17-Dec-08, to lugnet.cad, FTX)
