Re: Quirks with advanced technic cars (4WD, steering, suspension)

(...) The 8880 Supercar has all-wheel steering so that both rear wheels turn less than the front ones. That's not quite the same as Ackerman correction, but it helps. I've seen Ackerman steering correction done in LEGO, but of course I can't find it (...) (17 years ago, 19-Sep-07, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: NXT's in Series

(...) Here's one way: Use NXC or NBC. Pair a secondary NXT to a the primary NXT on connection 1 using the menu system on the primary NXT.   Re: Old Peter Witt Tramway from Turin

Quirks with advanced technic cars (4WD, steering, suspension)

Hi, first post. I'm new here. I haven't been able to mentally sort out some issues with technic cars with suspension, drive and steering without using specialist parts from sets like 8880. Suspension-- Using wishbone suspension, the wheels moves (...) (17 years ago, 19-Sep-07, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Serenity, an autonomous NXT-based boat

The City Harbor boat hull is plenty big to hold an RCX or an NXT. It could hold three of them end to end, actually. There are studs on the bottom of the hold and along the top, so you could build a cage for an NXT or just stick the RCX directly onto (...) (17 years ago, 19-Sep-07, to lugnet.robotics, FTX)

Re: Museo del giocattolo di Zagarolo

(...) Per me va benissimo. Io potrei presentare il mio villaggio "storico" con le casette originali anni '60 - '70 ed il treno a pile anni '60 nella sala 1. Se poi ci sarà spazio, porterò le altre casette, sempre in stile storico, ma MOC nella sala (...) (17 years ago, 19-Sep-07, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)
