  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) I wish they would go back to the days when the picture on the box was an actual photograph of the set and not a computer rendering at all. (17 years ago, 26-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors)

  Re: Alternate NXT-Firmware flashing tools

(...) ReHi Jürgen, yes this is a trivial job, but what should I learn from this packets ? fwflash returns no error back to commandline ... Does this mean fwflash works blindly and returns no protocol or packet errors ? Why is the result "success" (...) (17 years ago, 26-Jul-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt.nxthacking)

Re: MOCpages? Brickshelf? What should I do?

(...) Is this true? Didn't Tim Courtney establish the LDRAW committee in 1999, well after (and due to) James Jessiman's passing in 1997? Furthermore, James was developing an open standard, he wasn't providing a service or a selling a product. These (...) (17 years ago, 26-Jul-07, to lugnet.publish, FTX)

Re: LEGO Ambassadors Status Report - Summer 2007

(...) This is an interesting question about how representation should be spread. I believe that each fan should feel like they have access to an Ambassador to a reasonable degree. That is an ideal that, from cycle to cycle, we should move closer to. (...) (17 years ago, 26-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

Thanks! Every little helps! God bless, Nathan (17 years ago, 26-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) I don't know if it was in the list or not - but instruction quality has been brought up in discussions with TLG people. Especially the black issue, because they used to have such a great solution: outline the black pieces in white. I think it (...) (17 years ago, 26-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) Nelson - thanks for this, I think this is exactly what the community would like to see! Regarding more issues, one thing I don't see on the list that I'd like to is the poor representations of rendered box art and instructions, e.g. when you (...)   Re: 8094 mod: video now available

On Brickshelf and Youtube. I recommend you tube (faster) but if you want to save it (10mb), I put it on the same brickshelf folder. (2 URLs) (17 years ago, 26-Jul-07, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

  The Official "Issues List"

In my 'Status Report" post, I mentioned: (...) The issues list is now posted on the (URL) sidebar. These issues, regarding LEGO products and services worldwide, should come as no surprise to anyone, as they have been brought to the Ambassadors' (...)   Re: LEGO Ambassadors Status Report - Summer 2007

Aaron, Its not an unfair indictment on my part. I must admit to being a bit more of an observer and less outgoing than Jake, one of the parts of my job I'm working on at the moment and I will do my best to be more available online. Steve (17 years ago, 26-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

Re: LEGO Ambassadors Status Report - Summer 2007

(...) Not to pick on you Felix (I would've voted for you in an ambassador contest or just about anything else your MOCs are so interesting ; ) but this line is worth responding to. Eurobricks is without representation despite, I'm told, many of (...) (17 years ago, 26-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

Re: LEGO Ambassadors Status Report - Summer 2007

(...) I'll bite. This is a mixed question for sure. Product development and release of information are what need to be kept secret absolutely. The people who work on marketing plans and developing new things are dependant on the information not (...) (17 years ago, 26-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

Re: LEGO Ambassadors Status Report - Summer 2007

Lenny, I can share what I made during the Billund design trip because I was granted permission by the Castle product design lead. At Brickworld 2007 I gave a presentation on fan involvement in the design process. Currently I am working on an online (...) (17 years ago, 26-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

Re: Sticker Generator for LDRAW / MLCAD

(...) There is C code for a point in polygon implementation here: (URL) only 8 lines of code for the whole thing, but it supports arbitrary polygons, including ones with holes. UNDERSTANDING the algorithm might take a little work, but the page (...) (17 years ago, 26-Jul-07, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LEGO Ambassadors Status Report - Summer 2007

(...) I agree communities should choose who represents them. But if it was based on a voting system imagine what would happen; Would people start going to forums and campaigning-- or worse, mudslinging to get votes? I can see that getting really (...)   Re: Old lorry

(...) Yes, I sent you an email (adress as seen here on LUGNET) and added it also to the BS-folder of the model. For anyone, who will have a look at it: it is not meant for an instruction, so the submodels and steps seem to be a little stupid (...) (17 years ago, 26-Jul-07, to lugnet.modelteam, FTX)

Re: LEGO Ambassadors Status Report - Summer 2007

(...) Let me say that I understand your sentiment and your frustration. My aim here is to outline some of the issues that make it difficult to do what seems obvious. Big part of the secrecy issue is actually figuring out what must be kept secret and (...) (17 years ago, 26-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

Re: Sticker Generator for LDRAW / MLCAD

Sorry that it has taken me so long. In fact, I am still working on creating quadrilaterals and triangles to fill the largest spaces possible. My main hang-ups are: reducing processing time a working point-in-polygon test I have found two different (...) (17 years ago, 26-Jul-07, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LEGO Ambassadors Status Report - Summer 2007

(...) While I agree and reiterate Dave's points, I think that LEGO sees the ambassador program a bit differently. They are not LEGO employees assigned as ambassadors to the AFOL community. I believe LEGO sees them as AFOL members assigned as (...) (17 years ago, 26-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

Hi Christian, (...) you could add some code in lowlevel.c to dump the USB packets, and then look if you see anything wrong. Jürgen (17 years ago, 26-Jul-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt.nxthacking)
