Re: Boss's Bentley - A Rum Runners Set

(...) I was actually contacted a couple of months ago by someone who wondered if I sold Copper's Callbox as a set. They were doing a promotion of some sort and wanted a bunch. I think I might put together instructions for the MOCs. There seems to be (...) (19 years ago, 29-May-07, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

Re: Boss's Bentley - A Rum Runners Set

(...) Thanks Barbara. I always try to make my MOCs playable if I can. I actually had to rebuild this one a couple of times, as the Boss's hat made him too tall to sit in the limo the first couple of times around. -Elroy (19 years ago, 29-May-07, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

Re: Boss's Bentley - A Rum Runners Set

(...) Thanks. I'm having fun building these, even with the year-long lapses between builds. :) -Elroy (19 years ago, 29-May-07, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

Re: Boss's Bentley - A Rum Runners Set

  Re: robosoccer ball problem...

(...) It's not ideal for stock LEGO sensors I think, but it might be good to point out to them that the reason it blinks is to make things *easier*. With a source pulsing near a known frequency, ambient conditions are much easier to cancel out. (...) (19 years ago, 29-May-07, to lugnet.robotics.edu)

Re: Large Scale Lego Tank RC

(...) Nifty. Have you thought about using the newer bigger tread links, from the Snowmobile (and later this year from the Power Functions Bulldozer)? They are much less likely to break apart in my experience, and are closer in look at that scale as (...) (19 years ago, 29-May-07, to lugnet.technic)

  BrickShelf help

Ciao (...)   Re: Moving NXT motors by hand

(...) Well, if by "more qualified" you mean "have abused their hardware harder than average, yes :-). Since day 1 I've back-driven the NXT motors by hand, including the magic motor demo (not as efficient with the NXT motors, but it does work), using (...)   Re: Moving NXT motors by hand

(...) Well, I don't want to claim to be an expert, but I'll tell you what I've done. I have a couple remotes that I've been using for over a year, and I haven't had problems with them. One not only uses the rotation sensors, but also uses the motors (...) (19 years ago, 29-May-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

Re: LDraw Wiki - Beta release

(...) I see it as being complimentary. My feeling is that good articles should be brought across to the main site. This, though, would be a decision for the webmasters and SteerCo and can probably wait until the wiki is up and running in full. Tim (19 years ago, 29-May-07, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: Big Bricks - 600% Scale

(...) I had seen that space buggy before. I did most of the parts for the 6x one, then Ed Diment turned up with two wheelsets, so it was an obvious match. I've seen someone do some lovely 3x classic space ships. Phil Traviss has a 4x size 928 Space (...) (19 years ago, 29-May-07, to lugnet.build, FTX)
