Every time I call Consumer Affairs (800-453-4677), which is maybe a few times a year, they always send me, shortly thereafter, a LEGO not-quite-a-catalog. Once again I come out of lurking and actually say something. I just got into 'virtual LEGO' a few weeks ago, after stumbling across it when serfing about the RCX. have you tested this approach? it seems like it would work, but the light sensor would have to be fairly far off the surface to get a wide viewing area. it seems it would also get a little hairy with the inconsistency of lighting to determine (...) (25 years ago, 25-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

my rcx works fine with a universal ac to dc wall outlet. it has a switch to change the voltage. i've got it set at 9v and it operates at 800mA max. i figured 6 batteries x 1.5v =9v. i think it was originally for a keyboard (musical instrument, not (...)
