  Re: Black Friday and Lego

(...) sorry for the tease and for replying to my own post . . . looks like the HP ship is sold out. Jonathan (19 years ago, 22-Nov-06, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Black Friday and Lego

(...) Those interested might want to check the USA sales and deals section of lego.com. Harry Potter ship is $19.99 and one of the red Ferrari cars is listed among other things. Jonathan (19 years ago, 22-Nov-06, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Has Babylon Fallen?

(...) Part of this, for me at least, was/is a lack of time. I meant to post a notice on Lugnet a week before the show, but I spent so much time getting ready for the show, that it slipped my mind. I also hope to write up a short bit about the show (...) (19 years ago, 22-Nov-06, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Black Friday and Lego

Upon viewing the different ads for Black Friday I really didn't see any true great Lego deals. Everyone is pushing the tech stuff. Looks like the best deal is going to be Lego. Free shipping until the end of the month for orders of 99 or more and if (...) (19 years ago, 22-Nov-06, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Any 9v train update?

(...) I haven't heard anything official, but I did notice in the catalog that arrived in the mail the other day that they were advertising 9v parts as part of the Lego Digitial Designer pallettes. They are also selling the new Holiday train as both (...) (19 years ago, 22-Nov-06, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Has Babylon Fallen?

(...) I thought about 'cow-LUG'... or 'N-E-Cow-LUG'... which is different than 'Hosey-Cow-LUG'... But cows don't 'nay'.... We could do 'Horsy-Cow-LUG'... Prob'ly not... Dave Cow-Dice (19 years ago, 22-Nov-06, to lugnet.fun)

Re: 100% LEGO Technic Clock with Electric Drive

(...) Thanks, "OC." Now I feel like a real troll, fishing that compliment out of you! As you can probably tell, this clock is supposed to look like nothing more than a clock. An antique granddaughter clock or something similar. Pretty bland from the (...) (19 years ago, 22-Nov-06, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Has Babylon Fallen?

(...) We local members of NELUG often forget that most people do not know the "correct" pronunciation of our club name. It's "cow-dice". (Wait, that's not right...) It's "knee-lug". When I read your joke, I thought you might be pronouncing it as (...) (19 years ago, 22-Nov-06, to lugnet.fun)

Re: BOW, A new brick wargame

(...) Thanks a lot. (...) Yes, it's supposed to be a game for casual players. (...) I had to confess that I took this idea from a boardgame found in a LEGO Magazine. But it used only one 2x4 brick so I adapted a bit the concept. (...) Thanks. Yes I (...) (19 years ago, 22-Nov-06, to lugnet.gaming)

  Re: Has Babylon Fallen?

(...) And that is important - you started this discussion. Recognizing a problem is the beginning to solving it. (...) Don't sell yourself short. Every single thing that happens begins with one person. It may take a group to get things going, but it (...) (19 years ago, 22-Nov-06, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: don't feed the trolls!

(...) Ignorance is essential for the traditional Aussie sport of bullshitting; at least it's essential for one of the players. (URL) enough about trolls. How's everyone coping with the drop bears? They've been particularly bad this season here in (...) (19 years ago, 22-Nov-06, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: 100% LEGO Technic Clock with Electric Drive

(...) Man, I hate chasing posts to other groups, but for you Chris, I must. This is a nice looking new clock, but I must admit that it won't fit into a town as well as the old one :) Chris (19 years ago, 22-Nov-06, to lugnet.technic)

Pick a brick - where? for which countries?

Hi! I am about to buy some things for christmas, and I was wondering: Pick a brick - is that for Denmark too?? The train wheels under "transportation", are they the new technic version? BR Sonnich (19 years ago, 22-Nov-06, to lugnet.general)

Re: La Lego abbandona la Danimarca

(...) Attualmente la serie Bionicle in Italia crea il 30% del fatturato Lego. Questo dato si spiega da sè.   Re: Help needed for Train Poster 2006

  Re: Has Babylon Fallen?

(...) It has been brought to my attention that this joke may have been a bit subtle for some of our readers. Perhaps if I inserted some well placed punctuation thus: N-E-LUG is better than no LUG 8?) ROSCO (19 years ago, 22-Nov-06, to lugnet.fun)
