Re: FA : SOCCER SETS AND SUB-SETS (all new misp/misb)

I would just like to say that whilst many readers may think my description was misleading, and some of have indicated that it deliberately so, it was not (and is not) my intention for this to be the case. Naturally, I want anyone who buys from me to (...) (25 years ago, 20-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: [ldraw.org] Update

(...) I'm not sure how well that image would work as a small icon. But it would be cool. As long as it was a color other than red, it would probably be OK. A plain wireframe brick would be good as a logo, as well. Particularly if it did the (...) (25 years ago, 20-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, lugnet.publish)

  Re: r/c servos

(...) To get rid of the speculation here, the PWM is controlled by a programmable timer that the code in ROM configures to generate an interrupt every 1 ms. Output for each of 8 power levels is stored in a small table of waveforms, with the 1 ms (...) (25 years ago, 20-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: r/c servos

(...) It is a software-based PWM. The topic of controlling a servo with the RCX has been discussed before. Generating the pulse stream for a servo would not be too difficult with the RCX, assuming you program the H8 directly using e.g. LegOS or (...) (25 years ago, 20-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: r/c servos

If the pwm is really being controlled by an 8 bit counter, that might be fine for the servos. The current rcx output has a cycle time of 8mS and uses 1mS increments. If those are the top 3 bits, then the resolution is 5 bits worth or 0.03mS. This (...) (25 years ago, 20-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: LEGOLAND trains

I agree with the sticker issue, however there is a fine line! I think stickers are OK if they only represent a logo, numbering or words. I don't think using stickers to mask colors and create stripes... is legit. In many of the model railroad decal (...) (25 years ago, 20-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains)
