Re: A small (and my first) train animation done with MLCad

(...) Hi Ben, Very neat and I imagine from my past povray animation experiments that it was very time consuming. The one problem I have with it is the sky. It distracts from the train in the first few seconds of the animation. Perhaps a smoother (...) (20 years ago, 5-Sep-06, to lugnet.trains)

I came across this site: (URL) that sells decals of graffiti for model trains (click on a scale for thumbnails). I had totally forgotten this image was part of the keynote presentation: (URL) think LEGO gained a bit of cred with that slide, even though I don't remember that the actual answer was particular satisfying.   Re: What does a subpart with color=24 mean?

(...) It will be the constrast color for the constrast color. Which may be the same as the main color -- but it may not. Also, some viewers (like L3Lab) may balk at rendering a file which uses color 24 in a line type 1. Steve (20 years ago, 5-Sep-06, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Articulation with "working" connecting rods

(...) That's quite neat - it hadn't occurred to me to shorten the front truck like that to make room behind. But then I was trying to fit a motor in the front when I did mine. Jason R (20 years ago, 5-Sep-06, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Puerto Brico : Pirates everyday life

Re: What does a subpart with color=24 mean?

There actually is a standard defined for colour extensions, you can view it here (URL) it only applies to colours defined either in ldconfig.ldr, or in the part files or model files themselves. And it is still up to the (...) (20 years ago, 5-Sep-06, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) Hi Mark, I'm pretty sure there is no standard for that, and it depends on which renderer you use. ROSCO (20 years ago, 5-Sep-06, to lugnet.cad.dev)
