For sale: MISB 10019 Rebel Blockade Runner

I just discovered that I have an extra 10019... Mint in sealed box. [LEGOSet 10019] Willing to ship anywhere in the U.S. What's a fair asking price for this these days? I see a huge range of prices on BrickLink from $200ish to $600ish. (20 years ago, 13-Aug-06, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, FTX)

  7897 - quality issues

Wow! These gaps are wide enough to push coins of any size through! (URL) Jan Beyer of LEGO told at 1000steine, that all trains will look like this and he gave a (lame?) explanation, that there are limitations in designing the single-piece-mould, (...)   Re: 2 Part requests.

Most of the problems you saw are a result of the file being posted in FTX mode. You can eliminate all but two BFC errors by doing the following: Click the "View Raw Message" link at the top right of Thomas's post Select all the DAT code Copy the (...) Scattate in stazione a Nizza: (3 URLs) Pensate che sono così abituato a vedere quelle teste nel menu di MlCAD che di primo acchito nemmeno le avevo notate... Qualcuno ha una spiegazione plausibile? Ciao, un perplesso Gianluca (20 years ago, 13-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.it.itlug, FTX)

  Re: rtl22 working concept

(...) I'd suggest a template that has a very light X and O marked in tiny dots. This would be the "ideal" mark location, and robots (and humans) should try to make them as close as possible top these. -Rob A> (20 years ago, 13-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Fw: Robolab

I'm a newbie and am sure this has been answered before but why (as an individual developer) would I want to use Robolab as opposed to the individual Mindstorms Software that comes w/RCX? I guess the bottomline is - Is it worth an extra $69? On that (...) (20 years ago, 13-Aug-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: NXT Robot Swarm at BrickFest -- featuring Bluetooth

(...) My problems with this solution are two-fold. First, NXT-G currently can't send anything back to the PC, as it's not running anything to get the NXT-G message structure (yes, folks could write this... almost certainly will. But likely not me).   Re: rtl22 working concept

(...) If you are really worried about very slow machines, do what LafLRC did - time was one of the constraints, fastest wins all else being equal. (...) That was a problem I was going to mention as well. There needs to be a very clear standard here, (...) (20 years ago, 13-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: NXT Robot Swarm at BrickFest -- featuring Bluetooth

Here's an idea of how to get more than 3 NXTs connected via Bluetooth (BT). It involves using a PC as a "relay point". I think standards allow up to seven simultaneous connections per BT device. The limitation to three connections on the NXT may be (...) (20 years ago, 13-Aug-06, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

Re: NXT Motor Encoder Accuracy and Dead Reckoning

(...) I've played with it a good bit. It seems to be extremely accurate, in that one motor will slavishly follow the other - you can do demos like set a Move block to drive forward 10 rotations, and while it's trying to do that pick up the robot and (...)   And more Re: Still depressed about MB Gundam?

  Re: Worst of the worst

(...) If something happens in jLug's back yard that offends you, then deal with it there. Don't bring it (yet again) back into LUGNET!!! I'd ask an admin to remove or cancel this entire thread, but that'd lead to other issues. Dave K (20 years ago, 13-Aug-06, to lugnet.people.support)

Re: NXT Motor Encoder Accuracy and Dead Reckoning

Dick, the article you referenced with the PID controller is excellent. I spent a lot of time trying to do a straight line with an RCX model a few years ago, but with a different approach: It was track-driven and the drive shaft extension on each (...) Thanks for the information. I am new and still learning. An example is that I bought a used kit off Ebay assuming Robolab would be included. Wrong, I was dead wrong (no fault of the seller just my inexperince). So now I am looking for a copy of (...) (20 years ago, 13-Aug-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Mindstorms software

I just installed it on my XP machine and the tutoriasl seem to crash. This maybe be due to the fact that I have Quicktime 7.x installed instead of the 3.x from the kit. So far other things seem to be working but I have just started. I thought this (...) (20 years ago, 13-Aug-06, to lugnet.robotics)
